Before I get to today’s issue, let me address a news update from Tuesday’s issue about The Washington Post. Reporter Felicia Sonmez, who stirred up most of the drama I wrote about, has been fired. The New York Times has reviewed her termination letter, which says she was fired “for misconduct that includes insubordination, maligning your co-workers online and violating The Post’s standards on workplace collegiality and inclusivity.”
I don’t see what other option the Post had at this point.
